42 Plurinominal Councilors Assigned in Quintana Roo

The General Council of the Electoral Institute of Quintana Roo (Ieqroo) has allocated 42 proportional representation councilors, also known as plurinominal, among six political parties. Although these parties did not win outright, they garnered enough votes to be represented in the state's 11 municipalities.

Adrián Amílcar Sauri Manzanilla, president of the Political Parties Commission of Ieqroo, clarified that the three largest cabildos received 18 councilors, six for each. In Benito Juárez, the appointed councilors are Jorge Rodríguez Méndez, Olga Esther Moo Tuz, Carlos Enrique Ávila Lizárraga, Julia Isabel Fuentes Espinosa, Jesús de los Ángeles Pool Moo, and Lidia Nataly Méndez Vidal.

In Solidaridad, the appointed councilors are Roxana Lili Campos Miranda, José Luis Toledo Medina, Nellyadi Anaiza Quian Medina, Juan Humberto Novelo Zapata, María Josefina Muza Simón, and Saúl Jamín Barbosa Heredia. In Othón P. Blanco, the councilors are Lidia Esther Rojas Fabro, Gustavo Adolfo Pech Galera, Nallely Guadalupe Gómez Villamonte, Erika Cornelio Ramos, Germán de Francisco González González, and Lilian de Jesús Silva Erosa.

In the remaining eight municipalities, three councilors were appointed for each. In Cozumel, they are Pedro Óscar Joaquín Delbouis, Ana Gabriela Arana Martín, and Roberto Alan Marín Flores. In Felipe Carrillo Puerto, the councilors are María Luisa Poot Ek, Jessica Itzel García Be, and Elías Be Cituk. In Tulum, the councilors are Jorge Alberto Portilla Manica, Genny Yasmín Maza Sánchez, and Édgar Arón Tun Cámara.

In José María Morelos, the councilors are José Francisco Puc Cen, Sara Alicia Xiu Pérez, and Luis Hernán Carrillo Góngora. In Bacalar, the councilors are Tania Casa Madrid Alfaro, María Cristina Coronado Cruz, and Manuel de Jesús Ciau Nahuat. In Puerto Morelos, the councilors are María Fernanda Alvear Palacios, Roque Rubén Montoya Mex, and Rosa Isabel Ancona García. In Isla Mujeres, the councilors are Dancey Geisler Fernández Loria, Humberto Horacio Lara González, and Karina Alejandra Euan Sánchez. In Lázaro Cárdenas, the councilors are Aurora Concepción Pool Cauich, María Concepción Chan Che, and Dayanne Sinai Maglah Balam.

The General Council of Ieqroo presented the certificates accrediting them as councilors of their respective municipalities for the 2024-2027 term. These 42 councilors join another 75 councilors elected by relative majority, all from the Morena-PVEM-PT coalition.
