Notorious Criminal Leader “Crazy Shot” Arrested in Tulum: Shocking Details Unveiled

In a collaborative effort, officials from the Quintana Roo Attorney General's Office have apprehended five men, including notorious criminal leader Darwin Daniel, also known as "Crazy Shot". He has been identified as a high-priority target in the state's Criminal Atlas. This arrest is part of a broader initiative to combat violence and organized crime in the Tulum municipality.

The Attorney General's Office announced in a statement that "Crazy Shot", a mere 20 years old, was apprehited in Tulum's 10th North Avenue area. Alongside him, four other individuals were arrested: Darwin, known as "The Slim"; Alexis Armando, known as "The Engine"; Gabriel, known as "The Bacon"; and Wilber, known as "The Kakash". These detainees are believed to be responsible for over eight homicides and are members of an active criminal group in the region.

During the arrest, authorities confiscated several firearms, a quantity of marijuana, and a vehicle. The criminal group has been implicated in various criminal activities in the municipality, contributing to a climate of insecurity in the area.

Following the necessary legal procedures, the detainees were transported to the Public Ministry facilities where their legal status will be determined.
