Several municipal departments participated in the inspection, including Civil Protection, Animal Protection and Welfare, Ecology, the Heroic Fire Department, Public Services and Urban Development, as well as the Secretary of Education in Quintana Roo. Representatives from the Cancún A.C. Civil Engineers and Cancún A.C. Architects colleges were also present.
Benito Juárez Municipality operates a total of 67 shelters, spread across various areas of Cancún, with eight of them located in the Alfredo V. Bonfil delegation.
