Tulum has announced its third community clean-up event, aimed at preserving the natural beauty of the area. The event will take place on January 18th and 19th, starting at 8:00 am. The clean-up is a community effort, aiming to bring together everyone from business owners, entrepreneurs, and real estate developers, to artists, charity organizations, and the general public.
Anyone interested in volunteering can sign up in their local neighborhoods or at any of the 14 designated clean-up zones. To ensure safety and efficiency, volunteers are advised to wear sneakers or closed shoes, long pants, a cap or hat, sunscreen, and cloth or leather gloves.
Hydration stations will be available for all participants, and the event organizers will be on hand to assist with tasks in different areas of the municipality. The clean-up not only aims to beautify Tulum, but also to foster a greater sense of environmental awareness among its residents and visitors.
The success of such initiatives relies heavily on the collaboration of different sectors of society. This event underscores the importance of preserving the natural environment of Tulum, one of Quintana Roo's most iconic destinations.
