The DIF Solidaridad System, led by honorary president Eduardo Asencio, is inviting Mexican nationals and cohabiting couples of all genders to join the "Collective Weddings 2025". This event aims to provide legal certainty and formalize the civil status of those in free unions. The event is set to take place in February, with document submissions open until February 7th.
The Collective Weddings event is an opportunity for couples to voluntarily formalize their commitment and strengthen their family ties, which are seen as the fundamental pillars of society. This initiative is focused on providing legal certainty to romantic partnerships and regularizing the civil status of Mexican nationals.
Interested parties can submit their documents at the Civil Registry offices located in Puerto Aventuras, Fraccionamiento, Villas del Sol, Luis Donaldo Colosio, and Palacio Nuevo. The required documents include a birth certificate, CURP, official identification, prenuptial medical certificate, and proof of alimony debtor (free procedure).
It's worth noting that individuals aged 50 and above are exempt from the prenuptial requirements. This event is a unique opportunity to consolidate your relationship and be part of a larger community celebration.
