The grand unveiling of Cozumel Carnival 2025 took place on Friday, January 10. The event, held at Benito Juarez Park, was packed with attendees eager to learn about the candidates for various categories, key dates, and the official poster and song. The theme for this year's carnival is "Pirates".
Cozumel Carnival is renowned for the enthusiasm and commitment of its community. Each year, they come together to create stunning floats, music, dances, and vibrant parades. The 2025 carnival promises to be no different, with a range of events and activities beginning with the Pre-Carnival from February 1 to 23, followed by the main Cozumel Carnival from February 26 to March 5. The iconic float parades along the boardwalk are set for March 1, 2, and 4, promising memorable experiences for both locals and visitors.
The pre-carnival festivities will commence on Saturday, February 1 at the Moby Dick Entertainment Center. The evening will feature the first grand carnival dance and the introduction of the 2025 candidates and kings, as well as a farewell to the 2024 kings. The same event, in a free format, will take place the following day, February 2, at Quintana Roo Park. The pre-carnival will continue with the presentation of individual costume candidates on Saturday, February 8 at Moby Dick, followed by a free presentation on Sunday, February 9 at Quintana Roo Park. The voting night to select the Kings of Carnival 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, February 15.
