Gun Attack at Playa del Carmen Bar Leaves Two Wounded in Chaos

Last night, a bar situated near Plaza Las Américas in Playa del Carmen was the scene of a violent gun attack. Two people, a security guard and a woman, were injured in the incident. The assailants managed to escape amidst the ensuing chaos.

The attack occurred at approximately 9:30 am, when the sounds of gunfire startled hundreds of people in the plaza. The shots were coming from Oh La Habana bar located on Paseo Central Avenue. The incident was quickly reported to emergency services.

Unidentified assailants opened fire on the bar, resulting in injuries to a man and a woman. In the ensuing panic and confusion, the suspects managed to flee the scene. Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital. Their injuries, while serious, are not life-threatening.

Following the incident, police launched a large-scale operation in the area. However, no arrests have been made as of yet. An investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances and motives behind this violent attack.
