Two men suspected of being involved in multiple homicides have been arrested in Tulum. The arrest warrant was executed by the State Attorney General's Office. The suspects, known by their aliases "El 100" or "El 80", and "El 200", are identified as Alberto "N" and Luis Miguel "N" respectively.
Both men were previously detained at the Playa del Carmen Municipal Detention Center for alleged involvement in drug-related crimes. The incidents that led to their recent arrest took place on November 14, 2024. The suspects are believed to have intercepted a victim on Cobá street in Tulum, forcing him into a van before ordering his execution.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Alberto "N" and Luis Miguel "N" may be implicated in at least eight homicides in the Tulum municipality. They are believed to be part of a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking and contract killings.
Following the execution of the arrest warrant, the suspects were handed over to the appropriate authorities. Their legal status is expected to be determined within the prescribed legal timeframe.
