The 11th edition of the Rally Maya Mexico (RMM) is set to take place from March 28 to April 5, 2025. This prominent automotive event will journey through various locations across the Yucatan Peninsula. Approximately 90 teams from Mexico, Europe, Central, and South America are expected to participate.
The rally's route will feature stops at the archaeological sites of Ichkabal, Kohunlich, and Balamku. It will also visit Bacalar, the Hacienda Sotuta de Peon, Chetumal, Campeche, Merida, and Izamal. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the region's history and cuisine.
The event will commence at the Tulum Country Club, where the first vehicle will start. At each stop, the culture, tourism, and gastronomy of the Yucatan Peninsula will be showcased. The RMM also has a social aspect. Various foundations will provide wheelchairs to people with disabilities, organize camps for children with diabetes, and donate bicycles to local children to aid their access to education.
Known as the "Museum on Wheels", the Rally Maya Mexico is a significant regularity competition both nationally and internationally. The rally celebrates automotive heritage through a route that combines the historical, touristic, and cultural richness of the Yucatan Peninsula.
The Rally Maya Mexico tests the precision and skill of drivers and navigators in challenges that require maintaining exact speeds at predetermined times. Besides its automotive importance, the Rally Maya Mexico is also recognized for its social commitment. It is supported by the Alejo Peralta, Oasis, and Telmex-Telcel foundations.
