Cancun Park is set to host its first ever family race, organized to benefit children from a local underprivileged community. The event, put together by the Maria Knot Undoer Sanctuary, is aimed at promoting family unity and encouraging healthy interaction among Cancun residents.
The inaugural Maria Knot Undoer Sanctuary charity race is scheduled for Sunday, June 9th, kicking off at 6 am at Cancun Park. The event will include a 2.5 kilometer walk and a 10 kilometer race.
The race is expected to draw a significant number of participants from both the sports community and local families. A portion of the funds raised will be donated to the UAI NAT ZÉ association. The proceeds will be used to buy sports equipment and enhance educational resources for children and young people in the El Porvenir community in the Benito Juárez municipality.
Registration fees are $350 pesos per person. Interested participants can sign up through the website www.vmrunners.com. For more information, call 9981535187.
