Police and forensic team investigating at a crime scene cordoned off with red tape, in a residential area during daylight

A 15-year-old teenager tragically lost his life in a house fire, following an attack involving Molotov cocktails. The attack, which occurred at approximately 10:15 pm, targeted a two-story apartment located on Catepec Street, in the Haciendas Real del Caribe subdivision.

Upon witnessing the attack, local residents quickly alerted authorities via the 911 emergency system. Municipal Police officers were promptly dispatched to the scene, confirming the severity of the situation. Firefighters and Civil Protection units were also mobilized to tackle the blaze.

Before the emergency services arrived, neighbors attempted to douse the flames using buckets of water. They hoped to rescue the trapped teenager, but their efforts proved unsuccessful. Firefighters also made attempts to save the young man, battling the intense fire that had engulfed the property. Unfortunately, their efforts were also in vain. Upon entering the house, they discovered that the teenager had sadly perished.

Witnesses revealed that the teenager lived with his partner, a 37-year-old woman, and her two children. Fortunately, she and her children managed to escape the house unharmed.

Following the incident, Investigation Agents from the Homicide Unit arrived to initiate a formal investigation. Forensic experts were also called in to process the scene and handle the removal of the body.
