Quintana Roo is gearing up for its Easter Week celebration, with a special highlight being the presentation of the Passion of Christ at Delphin Beach in Cancún on March 18th. Alfonso Flores Moreno, the Director of Artistic Coordination Services, anticipates a large audience of local, national, and international spectators for this event.
A unique 360-degree stage will be set up to accommodate the nearly 5,000 visitors expected to flock to Delphin Beach on the day. This innovative stage design will allow attendees to view the performance from any angle, ensuring a comprehensive experience for all.
The Passion performance will feature a large cast, with approximately 200 costumes depicting the characters of the village.
"This event is a testament of faith, where all participants aim to spread a message of evangelization, of Christ's love and sacrifice. Our goal is to make the representation as true to reality as possible, while also ensuring a pleasant experience for all attendees," said Moreno.
