Jorge Portilla, a candidate for the municipal presidency of Tulum, has outlined several proposals in the fields of health, education, infrastructure, and agricultural support during a meeting in Chanchen Primero.
For health, Portilla plans to provide the entire Mayan area with an air ambulance service for emergencies. He also proposes the construction of a road to Xulub and the establishment of round-the-clock medical services in every community, complete with a supply of medicines.
In the realm of education, Portilla aims to establish two universities in the municipal capital.
Additionally, he plans to support the sale of embroidered and woven crafts and agricultural produce. This includes training producers in digital commerce and promoting the cultivation of profitable crops such as pitahaya. Support will also be extended to the marketing of honey and other products.
