A motorcyclist was struck by a van on Cancún's Talleres Avenue. The van driver attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by vigilant drivers who witnessed the incident.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Talleres and Chac-Mool avenues. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
The motorcyclist was leisurely riding along Talleres Avenue when he was forced to stop at a traffic light at the intersection with Chac-Mool Avenue. It was here that he was rear-ended by the van. The impact sent the motorcyclist sprawling onto the gritty pavement. The van driver, in a desperate attempt to evade responsibility, sped away from the scene.
Alert drivers who witnessed the incident acted quickly and were able to catch up with the fleeing van driver, preventing his escape.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and the responsibility all drivers share in ensuring the well-being of others on the road.
