Fatal Shooting in Playa del Carmen Subdivision: Shocking Murder Caught on Camera

A man was tragically murdered on Thursday night in the Villamar 2 subdivision of Playa del Carmen. He was reportedly being chased by individuals in a car while he was on his motorcycle. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Islas Bermudas and Isla Sociedad streets.

Eyewitnesses report that they saw the victim being pursued by individuals in a white car shortly before he was shot. At least five gunshots were heard, resulting in the man's death. The identity of the man remains unknown.

The victim was dressed in a blue shirt, jeans, and brown shoes, and was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. Police arrived on the scene shortly after the shooting, followed by private paramedics who confirmed the man's death. The age of the deceased is estimated to be between 20 and 35 years old.

Investigators from the State Attorney General's Office processed the crime scene and transferred the body to the Forensic Medical Service for further examination.
