A Colombian man tragically ended his life in his apartment located on La Selva avenue, nestled between Xcaret and Hondzonot streets, in the Ejidal neighborhood. The distressing incident was reported to the 911 emergency services around 1:00 PM.
The man's partner discovered him hanging from a rope in one of the rooms of their shared apartment. She immediately called for paramedics in a desperate attempt to revive him. Unfortunately, upon their arrival, the paramedics could only confirm that the man had passed away.
The man, a resident of the municipality, was found by his partner when she returned home from work. Following the discovery, Forensic Medical services were called to the scene. Additionally, experts from the State's Attorney General's Office were brought in to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's decision to take his own life.
