The Secretary of Citizen Security (SSC) is stepping up surveillance efforts at various locations across the state. The aim is to prevent and deter criminal activities, ensuring the safety of both residents and visitors.

Security personnel are conducting patrols along the Tulum-Cobá highway, which borders Yucatán. This initiative aims to prevent and deter criminal activities along this major thoroughfare.

Furthermore, a permanent security checkpoint has been established at the entrance to Tulum's coastal area. This measure is expected to enhance the safety of individuals entering this popular tourist destination.

These initiatives are being coordinated in partnership with the Secretary of the Navy. The joint efforts are aimed at bolstering the security of local residents and tourists alike.
