The "Maya Mexico Rally X 2024," nicknamed the "Rolling Museum," recently concluded its exciting 1,200-kilometer journey across the Yucatan peninsula. The final leg of the event was held in Cancun's Hotel Zone, where over a hundred vintage cars were showcased from 9 am to 10 pm at a resort located at kilometer 16. A standout feature of this year's rally was a stop at the exclusive Tulum Country Club during the fifth stage.
The Tulum Country Club, a prestigious residential complex, served as a key gathering point. Here, drivers and co-drivers received a warm welcome and a meal. The journey began by crossing the iconic bridge that links the Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort with the residential area, providing a stunning view of the natural surroundings.
The next stop was the Hotel Bahia Principe Grand Tulum, known for its elegance and top-tier service. This stop allowed attendees to admire the architecture and luxury of this famous destination. The tour ended at "La Hacienda Doña Isabel," a venue that blends Mexican tradition with modernity. This picturesque location was the perfect ending to the journey, offering guests a final taste of the Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort's hospitality and charm.
The stop at the Tulum Country Club offered participants a well-deserved break and a chance for the local community to interact with the competitors and marvel at a collection of classic cars. Residents and owners of the Tulum Country Club were able to view iconic cars such as Packards, Buicks, classic Mercedes Benz, 70s Porsches, and a Jaguar XKE, among others, parked around the Clubhouse. Drivers also had the chance to relax and enjoy the stunning views of the PGA Riviera Maya golf course from the Clubhouse terrace.
During the closing ceremony and award dinner of the Maya Mexico Rally, it was announced that the 2025 Maya Mexico Rally XI will be hosted by the Tulum Country Club and Bahia Principe Riviera Maya resort. This announcement was made by Benjamin de la Peña, CEO and founder of the Maya Mexico Rally, who praised the exceptional hospitality, organization, and quality of the event held at these venues. De la Peña expressed his gratitude for the excellent organization and delicious food that participants and attendees enjoyed.
In response to this recognition, the executives of the Tulum Country Club expressed their gratitude. David Romero, Commercial Director of the Tulum Country Club, thanked everyone for the opportunity to be part of such a special event. "Congratulations to all the competitors. It was a pleasure to host you, and we are even more excited and committed to being the start of the Maya Mexico Rally next year," said Romero enthusiastically.
