Shocking Gunpoint Robbery During Car Sale in Playa del Carmen

A woman was robbed at gunpoint in Playa del Carmen while attempting to sell her car. The incident took place around 10:00 AM on Xel Ha Avenue at Caracoles Street. The woman, known as Mrs. Teresita 'N', had advertised her car for sale on social media and was meeting a potential buyer in the La Guadalupana neighborhood.

Upon arriving at the location in her silver Nissan Sentra, she was met by the supposed buyer and another man. After identifying herself, she exited her car. At this point, the men threatened her with a gun, took her keys, and drove away in her car. The direction they headed is unknown.

The Municipal Police were called to the scene to assist Mrs. Teresita 'N', who sought help from nearby residents. The police launched an operation to try to locate the stolen vehicle.

Following the incident, the victim filed a complaint with the State Attorney General's Office in hopes of recovering her car.
