Renán Sánchez Tajonar, the candidate for local deputy of District 11 for the "Let's Keep Making History" coalition in Quintana Roo, expressed his gratitude to citizens for their support. Preliminary data suggests that he has received strong backing from the people of Cozumel and a vote of confidence from those in Playa del Carmen to continue the transformation project from the State Congress.
In a press conference, Sánchez congratulated José Luis Chacón and Estefanía Mercado, candidates for municipal presidents for the Morena, PVEM and PT alliance in Cozumel and Solidaridad respectively, on their significant lead. He reiterated his commitment to collaborating with them to bring greater prosperity to families. He also noted that they would work alongside Anahí González and Eugenio Segura in the Senate, and Juan Carrillo in the Chamber of Deputies, to build on the transformation initiated by the first female President of Mexico, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum.
"Today, Mexico has made history. We have our first female president, Claudia Sheinbaum, and we are incredibly proud to be part of her team. We are confident that many new projects will be launched in Cozumel, Solidaridad, and throughout Quintana Roo," said Sánchez.
Sánchez also noted that District 11 saw robust citizen participation. He thanked the voters for their support, promising, "I will not let you down. I will continue to be a representative for the people, committed to changing lives." He also expressed his gratitude to his campaign team and stated that the election results reflect the people's support for the Fourth Transformation project. He affirmed their commitment to fully supporting Claudia Sheinbaum and consolidating the project initiated by President AMLO.
