A 25-year-old man was tragically killed in an armed attack in Cancún. The victim, a motorcyclist, was reportedly shot five times by unknown assailants.

The incident occurred just before 3:00 pm at a small local market in the 247 super block, located near Los Tules Avenue on Paseo Cipreses side street. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots before discovering the injured man lying on the pavement.

Bystanders immediately contacted emergency services in an attempt to aid the victim. Unfortunately, the gunshot wounds were severe and had hit vital organs, leading to the young man's death.

The victim's body was respectfully covered with a blanket before being transported to the morgue for a legally mandated autopsy.

The identity of the assailant or assailants remains unknown, as does their current whereabouts and the motive behind the attack. Further information is awaited as the investigation continues.
