The development of the Tourist and Gastronomic Corridor on 60th Street and the revamp of Plaza Grande in downtown Merida are advancing steadily. The state government has reported good progress, although no specific completion date for the projects has been provided.
Currently, the finishing touches are being put on facade painting and stamped concrete sealing. The projects are also awaiting some interconnections from the Federal Electricity Commission.
All pavement work, electrical installations, irrigation systems, signage, and transverse crossings have been completed. Additionally, the planting of trees along the corridor is nearing completion. These refurbishment projects are set to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of downtown Merida.
