A cyclist was rushed to the hospital with a hip injury following a collision with a truck in the Ejido neighborhood of Playa Del Carmen. The accident occurred when the truck driver failed to stop while exiting a gas station, resulting in the collision.
The incident took place around 12:30 in the afternoon at the intersection of 115 and Constituyentes avenues. The driver of a red Nissan NP300 truck, with the license plate TB 6860 M, was leaving the gas station and carelessly attempted to merge onto 125 Ave. In doing so, he hit a cyclist who had the right of way, causing the cyclist to fall onto the hot pavement.
