Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal has praised the accomplishments of his administration, attributing the success to a strong partnership with the federal government. The governor emphasized that the non-partisan approach and focus on citizen welfare have been instrumental in the successful execution of projects in Yucatán.
Among the highlights is the IE-TRAM, an electric and eco-friendly transport system now operational in Mérida, Yucatán. The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and Manuel Bartlett Díaz were thanked for their contribution to the Nachi Cocom photovoltaic plant, which has made the IE-TRAM a national model for sustainability.
Governor Vila Dosal pointed out several indicators of progress under his administration, achieved in collaboration with the federal government. These include Yucatán's impressive credit rating in 2024, its national leadership in implementing result-based budgets, top-ranking in regulatory improvement, and the lowest perception of corruption in Mexico. Deloitte, a consulting firm, has also recognized Yucatán as the best state for business in the country.
The governor highlighted several strategic projects currently in progress with the federal government. These include hospital construction, expansion of the Mayakan natural gas pipeline, and the building of combined cycle plants for electricity. The partnership between the state and federal government has proven fruitful, prioritizing the interests of the people over partisan politics.
