Travelers Shocked as Cancun Tour Guides Disappear at Ventura Park

A group of tourists were left stranded at Ventura Park in Cancun by their travel agency, sparking outrage and going viral online. The tourists, who were visiting from the city of Merida, accused the company, Novelo Vacation Tours, of abandoning them at the water park after they had paid for transportation services.

One of the tourists, Sirene Mtz, shared her experience on her TikTok account. She explained that the group was instructed by the travel agency to be ready to board the transport by 17:30 and to remain sober in order to be allowed on the bus. However, the tourists claim that the tour operators, two young individuals, were the ones consuming alcohol at one of the park's bars.

The situation escalated when the tour operators became intoxicated, resulting in them undressing, vomiting, and passing out in the dolphin park's restroom. This left the group without their guides and, as it turned out, without transportation, as the bus driver had not been paid.

Frustrated by the situation, the tourists decided to leave on their own. The park even closed its doors with the bus still inside, due to the unpaid visit to the dolphin area.

After several hours of distress, the stranded tourists managed to return to Merida. A different agency stepped in to pay for their transport and apologized for the unfortunate experience they had in Cancun.
