In a distressing incident, an Argentine citizen named Nahuel Alejandro Tagliaferro, was caught in a shooting near the Olimpo bar in the Ejido colony. The unfortunate event resulted in a shattered left femur for Nahuel, who now needs to return to Argentina for recovery. His injury is particularly severe, being near the femoral artery and leading to an aneurysm.

The 25-year-old's condition has deteriorated over time and he urgently requires blood donors with type A(-) blood. He is currently being treated at the General Hospital of Playa del Carmen. The shooting occurred on August 21, and while it was reported that a pedestrian was injured, the victim's nationality was not disclosed at the time.

Nahuel has remained at the General Hospital of Playa del Carmen since the incident. His injury involves multiple fractures to his femur, and the bullet remains lodged in his leg. His grandmother, Araceli, from La Plata, has reached out to the media in Argentina, expressing the urgent need to transfer her grandson back home for further treatment.

The family is currently raising funds for the transfer, using various South American bank accounts under the name of Araceli Marta de la Canal. Araceli stated that Nahuel needs a direct flight due to the severity of his injury, and local doctors have expressed their inability to treat him.

Despite living in Mexico for several years, Nahuel does not have citizenship, complicating his situation further. The family is awaiting a response from the hospital regarding an anesthesiology procedure for an aneurysm in his knee. In the meantime, his friends are providing assistance.

The Argentine consul in Playa del Carmen has informed the family that they do not provide funds for transportation, and a family member would need to travel to Mexico to accompany Nahuel back to Argentina. The total cost for the trip is estimated to be around 3.5 million pesos, a sum the family is striving to raise as quickly as possible.
