Quintana Roo’s First-Ever Public Vehicle Auction – Don’t Miss Out on October 15!

The Ministry of Finance and Planning (SEFIPLAN) of Quintana Roo has announced its first public, in-person vehicle auction. The event will take place on October 15, beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the Bella Vista Social Center in Chetumal. The auction will feature a range of vehicles currently owned by the State Government of Quintana Roo.

Potential buyers are invited to inspect the vehicles in person at the SEFIPLAN inventory yards, located on the Chetumal – Bacalar highway, km 3.5, in Chetumal. Additional inspection sites are available in the municipalities of Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, Benito Juárez, Lázaro Cárdenas, Puerto Morelos, Solidaridad, Tulum, Felipe Carrillo Puerto, José María Morelos, and Bacalar in Quintana Roo, as well as in Mexico City. Inspections can be carried out from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., from September 13 to October 14.

For those unable to visit in person, an online photo catalog of the 339 available vehicle lots is accessible on the SEFIPLAN website. The catalog will be available from the date of publication until October 15, 2024.

Interested parties can submit their bids in a public event on October 9 and 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Bella Vista Hall in Chetumal. The actual bidding will commence on October 15 at 10:00 a.m. It's important to note that there are no registration fees to participate in this event.
