Estefanía Mercado, the newly elected municipal president of Solidaridad, has unveiled plans for 15 strategic projects aimed at enhancing the city's urban appeal. One of the standout projects is the construction of a bypass to alleviate the city's traffic congestion.
Mercado stated that the proposal for the bypass project has already been submitted to Governor Mara Lezama. The project is being coordinated in conjunction with state and federal governments to ensure its successful implementation.
In addition, Mercado announced the introduction of a 'single window' system to streamline and increase the transparency of Coparmex procedures within the municipality.
During a meeting with business leaders, Mercado encouraged the private sector to collaborate in these efforts to transform Solidaridad. She emphasized that in the first year of her administration, 900 million pesos will be invested in public works projects.
Mercado also highlighted the critical role of citizen participation in these projects, stating that it is essential for achieving meaningful change in Solidaridad.
