The Secretary of Labor and Social Security of Quintana Roo, in collaboration with the State Employment and Job Training Service (SEECAT), is organizing the "Employ Yourself Quintana Roo" event. This initiative is part of the "National Employment Fair for Labor Inclusion 2024," and aims to reduce inequality and foster shared prosperity. Over 3,000 job vacancies will be offered across various municipalities.

Verónica Salinas Mozo, the interim head of the state Labor secretariat, emphasized that more than 115 companies will participate, providing over 3,161 job positions. Various free labor services will also be available. The fairs will commence on Wednesday, October 16 in Cancún, at the "Jacinto Canek" double dome; Thursday 17 in Playa del Carmen, at the Gonzalo Guerrero Colony dome, and Tuesday 29 in Chetumal, at the Bellavista hall, located on Bahía Boulevard. The events will run from 09:00 to 15:00 hours.

Salinas Mozo stated that this initiative aligns with the New Agreement for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo, championed by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa. The agreement aims to create a diverse, sustainable economy that brings prosperity to all families and job opportunities to every part of the state.

Information and service modules will also be available at the fair, including Young People Building the Future (JCF), Infonavit, Bienestar Financial (Finabien), State Institute for Youth and Adult Education (IEEJA), and State Health Services (Sesa), among others.

The official concluded that this program strengthens the ability of job seekers and employers to access better job opportunities. It also helps businesses find the qualified personnel they need.
