Discover ARCA Tulum’s Monthly Jungle Culinary Experience

ARCA, a renowned restaurant in Tulum, continues to host its monthly Jungle Series, featuring dinners prepared by some of the world's finest chefs. Located in Tulum's hotel zone, ARCA, under the leadership of Chef José Luis Hinostroza, invites globally acclaimed chefs to showcase their culinary prowess to its patrons once a month. These guest chefs, many of whom are listed among Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants, hail from Mexico and beyond, offering a diverse and exciting dining experience.

In April, ARCA hosted a dinner featuring the culinary talents of three young and gifted female chefs. Sheyla Alvarado from Lunario restaurant in Ensenada, Regina López from La Cevicheria in CDMX, and Thalia Barrios from Levadura de Olla in Oaxaca each prepared two dishes for the occasion. These dishes, either from their own restaurant menus or specially created for the event, incorporated local ingredients and showcased the chefs' unique styles.

Adding to the unique experience, the chefs utilized seafood sourced from female producers, in collaboration with the Pesca con Futuro movement. The menu featured a variety of seafood, including succulent clams from Atenea en el Mar, trout from Neminatura, and oysters from Kordelia.

ARCA is not just a restaurant but a culinary destination. Nestled in the heart of Tulum's hotel zone, it offers a unique dining experience that combines innovative cooking techniques with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients. The jungle-inspired setting adds to the restaurant's unique ambiance. ARCA is currently ranked 28th on the Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants list and 60th on North America's 50 Best Bars list.

The menu at ARCA changes regularly to keep the dining experience fresh and exciting. Signature dishes include pastor octopus, catch of the day, and grilled mushroom tlayuda. Recent additions to the menu include deer tartare with smoked macha sauce, crab esquites, smoked trout tostada, and Wagyu tlayuda.
