The South Border Fair Expofer 2024, held at the new Quintana Roo Park, attracted more than 150,000 attendees. The event, part of the 50th anniversary celebrations for the state of Quintana Roo, took place over the course of a week.

Visitors were treated to a rich artistic and cultural program featuring more than a thousand artists. There were also over 45 mechanical attractions and skill games for attendees to enjoy. Additionally, the fair provided an opportunity to purchase crafts and gain insights into public administration at the OPB Pavilion.

The event also included a Livestock Exhibition and a dedicated storage area. A variety of snacks and meals were available in the restaurant zone, catering to all tastes.

Expofer Chetumal stands out as one of the few fairs that still offer free concerts. Attendees were entertained by high-caliber artists such as Magneto, Alicia Villarreal, Gloria Trevi, Bobby Pulido, Edwin Luna and Trakalosa de Monterrey, La Adictiva, and Los Ángeles de Charly, among others.
