Son Arrested in Fatal Parental Attack

A young man has been taken into custody by the Public Ministry, suspected of homicide and serious assault. The incident took place on Friday afternoon in the Paseos del Mar neighborhood.

The suspect, 21-year-old Víctor "N", is under investigation for the alleged intentional homicide and knife assault of his parents. It has been confirmed that the male victim, the suspect's father, later died in the hospital.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a crowd of people pointing out a man who had reportedly attacked his parents. A visibly injured woman, identified as the suspect's mother, stated that her son had argued with her husband before assaulting him with a sharp weapon. The attack resulted in a neck wound, and the victim was rushed to the General Hospital.

Despite the efforts of the medical team, the man was pronounced dead. Consequently, the alleged attacker was arrested at the scene and handed over to the State Attorney General's Office for further investigation.
