The Health Services Directorate of DIF Solidaridad encourages women aged between 40 and 69 to book a mammogram appointment. This service aims to detect or rule out any abnormalities in breast tissue that may not be visible or palpable.
Appointments can be scheduled at the Health Services Directorate of DIF Solidaridad, between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. The department also organizes group transport every Tuesday from the DIF facilities to Cancún.
To be eligible for this service, women are required to present themselves at the Yellow Villa with two copies of their CURP, INE, and proof of residence that is no older than three months. This information was shared by the department on its social media platforms.
The process is managed socially, meaning women should visit the Health Directorate with a socioeconomic study to complete the necessary procedures. This will ensure they receive a quality service through the DIF's mammogram program, free of charge.
Women under the age of 40 who have a breast-related problem or condition can also access this service with a medical prescription if they require a breast ultrasound.
