American Airlines is set to bolster its Mexican network in the winter season of 2024. The airline plans to increase flights to several popular destinations including Los Cabos (SJD), Huatulco (HUX), Oaxaca (OAC), Zihuatanejo (ZIH), Cancun (CUN), and Puerto Vallarta (PVR).
This expansion will result in the airline operating over 800 weekly flights to 28 different destinations across Mexico. This makes American Airlines the leading US airline in terms of services offered in the region.
The airline has shown its commitment to Mexico this year by launching three new destinations and further strengthening its already extensive network within the country. "We are excited to continue growing our footprint in Mexico this coming winter, offering more flights than any other US airline," said José María Giraldo, the general manager of American Airlines for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
