The Mexican Association of Businesswomen (AMEXME) Riviera Maya Chapter recently held its prestigious 2024 Women's Gala. The event, organized by Carla Toledo, Director of Public Relations, and Audrey Arroniz, Director of Social Communication, was an evening of celebration, recognition, and camaraderie.
The gala brought together distinguished businesswomen, businessmen, and community advocates from the Riviera Maya and Quintana Roo. The event also saw the presence of strategic allies and key figures from the business and government sector. José Antonio García Herrera, president of the National Chamber of Radio and Television Industry (CIRT), commended Liliana Bravo Mena, president of AMEXME, for her successful organization of the gala.
The highlight of the evening was the awards ceremony, recognizing women and companies that have made significant contributions to the community through their efforts and vision.
AWARDS PRESENTED AT THE GALA
- Participating Partner Recognition: Lila López was honored for her active involvement in the association's activities.
- Business Network Recognition: Valeria Rindertsma was acknowledged for fostering economic development via business networks, generating nearly 2 million pesos in internal consumption. She is a candidate for the presidency of AMEXME Riviera Maya for the 2025-2027 term.
- Leadership Recognition: Liliana Bravo was celebrated for her impactful leadership within and beyond AMEXME.
- Ixchel Award: Businesswomen with over 15 years of experience in AMEXME Riviera Maya, including Adriana Bravo Mena and Patricia Córdova, were honored.
- Successful Entrepreneurship Award: Ruth Carrillo of Sustainable Alliances was recognized for her "Sustainable Guardians" project, which has provided environmental education to over 1,300 children and teachers in Solidaridad.
