Woman Shot Multiple Times in Assassination Attempt

A woman narrowly escaped death in an assassination attempt in Cancún's Region 230. She was shot multiple times, with two bullets striking her head, while outside her home. The incident reportedly occurred around 1 AM at the intersection of 58th and 71st streets. Police officers were quickly on the scene, followed by private paramedics who transported the woman to the General Hospital.

Eyewitness accounts suggest the woman, believed to be around 25 years old, was outside her home when unknown assailants approached and fired multiple shots at her. She was found lying on the sidewalk, in a pool of blood, suffering from several gunshot wounds, including two to her head.

Upon arrival at the hospital, she was immediately taken to the shock trauma unit. Despite her critical condition, medical staff were able to stabilize her. However, her condition remains serious.

The attackers managed to flee the scene and, as of now, no arrests have been reported by the police.
