Atenea Gómez has announced her commitment to pave the entirety of Isla Mujeres as a part of her campaign proposals. Gómez believes that this transformation is essential for the continued development of the island.

While touring Rueda Medina Avenue, Gómez interacted with local business owners and tourism industry workers. She emphasized that one of her primary goals is to ensure safe and reliable roads for both the island's residents and the tourists who visit. She wants the infrastructure to reflect the world-class status of Isla Mujeres as a destination.

Gómez, a representative of the MORENA, PVEM, and PT (Partido del Trabajo) parties, affirmed her intention to build upon the work done in recent years. She aims to further the transformation of Isla Mujeres.
