Atenea Gómez Ricalde, the candidate for municipal president of Isla Mujeres representing the "Let's Keep Making History" coalition, has stated that despite leading in the polls, she remains committed to visiting families on the island.

"In the polls that have been released, we are ahead of the other candidates. However, this doesn't mean I'm resting on my laurels. I'm still actively visiting families across Isla Mujeres," Ricalde said during an interview following the presentation of her initial campaign proposals.

Ricalde emphasized her enjoyment of these visits and the opportunity they provide to learn about the needs of the community. "I really enjoy walking around the neighborhoods on the island, as well as in the Continental Zone. Visiting families and hearing about their needs firsthand is something I find very valuable," she added.

Regarding her campaign proposals, Ricalde stated that they are designed to meet the needs of all residents of Isla Mujeres, both on the island and in the Continental Zone.
