Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort Strengthens Its Commitment to Animal Welfare with a Major Donation to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary

Over 700 linen items will enhance the comfort and enrichment of the sanctuary’s habitats

Riviera Maya, March 7, 2025 – Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort, in collaboration with Eco-Bahía, reaffirms its commitment to conservation and animal welfare through a significant donation of supplies to the Akumal Monkey Sanctuary. This effort aims to improve the living conditions of the animals at the refuge, supporting their care and rehabilitation.

The donation included 210 bath towels, 335 double sheets, 130 pillowcases, and 40 hand towels—essential items that will help optimize hygiene and comfort within the sanctuary.
