Blanca Merari’s Unstoppable Rise in Puerto Morelos

Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz, the candidate for the Municipal Presidency of Puerto Morelos, has received a significant show of support in the first month of her campaign. Representing the coalition "Let's Keep Making History in Quintana Roo", which includes the Green, Morena, and Labor parties, Merari led a large procession through the streets of Puerto Morelos.

The procession consisted of supporters on foot, motorcycles, mototaxis, vans, and private cars. It started near the Cecyte Leona Vicario campus and concluded at the Dome of the Cenote. Throughout the journey, Merari was joined by other candidates: Gino Segura for the Senate, and Juan Carrillo and Alberto Batún for federal and local deputies. Supporters waved flags and chanted in support of Merari's bid for the Municipal Presidency.

Chants of "It is an honor to be with Blanca today" and "You can see it, you can feel it, Blanca is present" echoed throughout the procession. Merari, affectionately known as "Blanquita" in her hometown, was met with applause and messages of support from local residents.

Merari expressed her gratitude for the support, saying, "I am proud to receive the support of my friends, my neighbors, the people who saw me grow up. I commit myself to work to consolidate the benefits of the Fourth Transformation and so that everyone can enjoy well-being, better public services, safety and have a decent job." She emphasized the importance of unity and the need for the people of Puerto Morelos to come together to ensure a prosperous future for their community.

Merari also spoke of the upcoming vote for the coalition's candidates on Sunday, June 2, saying that it offers an opportunity to consolidate progress and set new goals to keep the municipality on the path of prosperity and shared well-being. She promised that, with the coalition's victory, the best is yet to come for their municipality.

Merari concluded by expressing confidence in the success of her coalition and Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, the first female president of Mexico, saying, "I guarantee that with the victory of the coalition, the best is yet to come for our municipality. We are convinced that Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo will sweep the polls, just like our project in Puerto Morelos."
