The College of Notaries in Campeche has yet to comment on allegations of land dispossession involving foreigners in Tulum, Quintana Roo. A notary from Ciudad del Carmen is accused of aiding the fraudulent transfer of a 10,000 square meter property using counterfeit documents. The property was subsequently sold to a company suspected of heading a real estate mafia.

The aggrieved party has implicated Jaime Antonio Boeta Tous, public notary number 12 from Ciudad del Carmen, in this illegal scheme. In response to these events, attorney Francisco Javier Mata Alvarado, representing Liubov Illinichna Prudokovskaya and her children Natalia and Emiliano Silva Prudkoskaya, as well as Stefan Alies Prudkovskiy, has filed an administrative complaint.

The complaint lodged with the Secretariat General of Government of the State of Campeche seeks the permanent suspension of notarial functions and the revocation of the patent held by public notary Jaime Antonio Boeta Tous. A separate complaint has been filed with the Public Ministry agency accusing Tous, a Law graduate, and/or others involved in the alleged scheme of document forgery.

The charges include acts of corruption, forgery of public documents, and misuse of documents. The legal representative claims these actions have resulted in both economic and moral damages. The estimated financial loss, based on the commercial value of the two properties, is approximately 60 million pesos.
