CANCUN – More than 320 kilos of various drugs were incinerated by order of the Attorney General’s Office and the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA).
In a statement, it was detailed that a total of 267 kilos of marijuana, 37 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, 658 grams of methamphetamine, 19 kilos of cocaine, 1,974 units of methylenedioxyamphetamine hydrochloride, 109 units of oxycodone and 79 units of amphetamine were destroyed.
The Federal Public Ministry coordinated the identification of the drugs and carried out the counting and weighing procedures.
In collaboration with the Federal Ministerial Police, experts from the institution and representatives of the internal control body of the FGR, were on hand to verify that the procedure was carried out according to protocol.
