The Governor of Cancún has delivered 100 property deeds to families residing in several irregular colonies. These include Tierra y Libertad II, Tierra y Libertad III, Justicia Social, Cuna Maya, Estrella del Mar, Diamante, and Tucanes.

This move comes amidst allegations of corruption and illegal activities within the local board of directors of the Juan Sarabia ejido. The board has been accused of illegally selling stony materials, a matter that has caused concern among the ejido inhabitants.

In response to the lack of information and transparency from the board regarding these sales, the residents have decided to take the matter to the Agrarian Court. For more information on this issue, click here.
