A devastating event unfolded in Cancún on Wednesday, May 15th, when a woman and her two children were left homeless after their ex-partner intentionally set their house on fire. The incident took place in the Las Palmas neighborhood, Region 259, on Africana street. The fire completely destroyed their home, leaving the family with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

The brave mother managed to save her children from the flames but was powerless to stop the destruction of their home and all their possessions. The following day, with the help of a friend, they were able to clear the remains of the fire to the backyard and provide some shelter for the children. However, the loss of their home and belongings has left them in a dire situation.

In response to this tragedy, the mother is appealing for public support, asking for clothing for her children and any items that could help them start over. Meanwhile, the person responsible for the fire has not yet been located. It is anticipated that the mother will file a legal report against him.

The authorities, recognizing the trauma experienced by the mother, have recommended that she seek assistance from the Quintana Roo Women's Institute (IQM). This organization can provide her with psychological support and legal advice to help her navigate this difficult time.
