On May 8th, Aguakan, the provider of drinking water and sewerage services in Cancún, hosted a vibrant festival in honor of mothers.
The lively event was filled with laughter, games, raffles, and music, with a strong emphasis on generosity. In a heartfelt act of giving, attendees donated food, collectively contributing a total of 150 kilos. These donations were given to the Cáritas Foundation, a local organization dedicated to assisting those in the community who are most in need. Frida Barrientos Reyna, a representative from Cáritas, expressed her gratitude for this display of solidarity, highlighting the significance of community involvement in making a positive difference.
The celebration was further brightened by the comedic performance of "La tía Chayo," a well-known comedian whose unique humor had everyone in fits of laughter. Amidst the laughter and applause, mothers enjoyed a day filled with joy and friendship.
The festivities didn't stop there. The celebration later moved to Playa del Carmen, where the spirit of unity and generosity continued to spread, leaving a lasting impression of love throughout the region.
