President AMLO Unveils Stunning Caribbean Archeological Restorations

Over the weekend, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador visited the Caribbean coast, specifically Tulum in Quintana Roo. He took to social media to emphasize the restoration of "many sites" along this beautiful coastline. He shared a photo of himself seated on the steps of a structure located in Jaguar Park.

"From afternoon to evening, we toured the majestic archaeological area of Tulum's Jaguar Park," he posted on his official social media account on Saturday night.

In a subsequent official statement, the Presidency confirmed that the President toured Jaguar Park. He was accompanied by the state governor, Mara Lezama Espinosa, and other members of his federal cabinet.

Joining the tour were Luis Cresencio Sandoval, head of the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA); Román Meyer, of Urban and Rural Development (SEDATU); Diego Prieto, the director of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH); and executives from the military company "Tren Maya" S.A. de C.V.

Additionally, executives from the Airport, Railway, and Auxiliary Services Group Olmeca-Maya-Mexica, deputy ministers of Finance, and other public servants from SEDENA were present during the activities.
