Carnaval del Pueblo: Festive Highlights in Puerto Aventuras!

The vibrant "Carnaval del Pueblo" has arrived in Puerto Aventuras, bringing a festive and entertaining atmosphere. The festivities kicked off last night at the town hall with the selection of the carnival's monarchs for 2025. The event also included the crowning of children's, disabled, elderly, and diverse kings and queens.

The jury, consisting of Egle López, Nicole Lamontagne, and Eduardo Gutiérrez, who are all well-versed in ballet, folklore, and choreography, selected Jeremmy Jissele and Demmys Ariel as the carnival's monarchs. In the children's category, Vanesa Yamileth and José Armando were chosen; in the disability category, Katia Guadalupe and Carlos Alejandro; in the elderly category, Estelita and Limbano; in the diversity category, Marina and Alex Adrián; and Junior Sánchez was chosen as the youth king. The crowning of all category winners will take place this Tuesday at the town hall's civic plaza, where dancers will have the opportunity to showcase their talents.

Aside from the crowning of the carnival's monarchs, attendees were treated to performances by guest artists such as Jessi Rayeka, the Veracruz trio Maros, and the musical group "Son Latino", which had everyone up and dancing. Before the coronation on Tuesday, there will be a parade featuring decorated cars and carnival groups. The parade will start at Lolbé park and end at the Civic Plaza, located behind the town hall offices.

The townspeople and tourists are in for a grand celebration, with the opportunity to dance the night away. The finale of the carnival will feature a performance by the popular band "Sargazo Norteño," who will play their top hits. Among the guests in attendance last night were Mayor Gilberto Gómez and his wife, Gladys Asencio.
