The Mexican Navy recently reported the discovery of two packages believed to contain cocaine. These were found in the vicinity of Solidaridad county, Quintana Roo.
The first package was discovered on the beach near a hotel southwest of Puerto Aventuras. It was wrapped in black and clear tape and was found during a routine patrol. The second package was found in Playa del Carmen, near Playacar.
The combined weight of the two packages is approximately 2,035 grams. They were handed over to the Attorney General's Office in Cancun for further investigation.
This discovery is part of the ongoing efforts by the Mexican Navy to combat crime and ensure safety along the Mexican coastlines.
