Gilberto Gómez Martínez, the Mayor of Puerto Aventuras, has revealed plans to prepare a comprehensive report for the incoming Municipal President, Estefanía Mercado. Despite his term not ending until December, Martínez stated that the creation of this report does not signify a formal handover process.
When questioned about Puerto Aventuras' potential to become the twelfth municipality, given the population requirements and the support of future municipal authorities, Martínez acknowledged that there is much work to be done. He emphasized the need for careful analysis of the tasks and responsibilities within the mayor's office.
Martínez concluded by expressing his commitment to work closely with Mercado to improve Puerto Aventuras. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving a successful transition and the ongoing development of the community.
