Padel Premier Tournament Debuts in Costa Mujeres!

The Padel Premier Cancún Tournament is set to take place in Costa Mujeres, located in the continental area of Isla Mujeres, from March 10th to 15th. The announcement was made during the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) 2025 in Madrid, Spain.

The event was attended by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa, the municipal president of Isla Mujeres, Atenea Gómez Ricalde, and Senator Eugenio Segura. The tournament will be a gathering of the world's best players and is set to be held at the esteemed Rafa Nadal Tennis Center, situated in the heart of the Mexican Caribbean in Costa Mujeres.

The tournament was presented by key figures in international paddle, including Luigi Carraro, president of the International Padel Federation (FIP); Jorge Mañe, president of the Mexican Padel Federation (FEMEPA); David Serrahima, general director of Premier Padel; and Alfredo Peñalver, general director of Bullpadel.

The tournament is expected to be a thrilling week of high-level paddle, with an estimated attendance of 20,000 people, making it a must-see event for sports enthusiasts. The Premier Padel Cancún P2 will feature the most distinguished names in international paddle.

In the men's category, players such as Federico Chingotto, Agustín Tapia, Arturo Coello and Franco Stupaczuk will be participating, while in the women's category, stars like Gemma Triay, Ariana Sánchez, Paula Josemaría and Delfina Brea will compete.

In addition to the sporting spectacle, this tournament will have a positive impact on the local economy, attracting high-level tourism and benefiting hotels, restaurants and businesses in the region. It also reinforces the Mexican Caribbean's reputation as a diversified destination that blends natural beauty, luxury infrastructure and international events.

The secretary of Tourism, Bernardo Cueto and the president of the Tourist Promotion Council of Quintana Roo (CPTQ), Andrés Martínez, were also present at the announcement with the governor.
